This link, I have to admit, shows not really an neutral point of view on the PIPA-bill, that is also being discussed in the us along with SOPA. But still it gives quite an idea, how far the us government could go with their designed laws.
I agree it is not neutral but it explains what is going to happen if people dont react.I just read the Wikipedia's announcement and I totally agree with one phrase : "...The internet has enabled creativity, knowledge, and innovation to shine, and as Wikipedia went dark, you've directed your energy to protecting it..."
